About Us

was known as Eori by the indigenous population of the Harakmbut ancestral ethnicity, and as Amarumayo or Snake River by the Incas. Its most distant origin is located in the headwaters of the river Pilcopata, southeast of the city of Paucartambo, in the department of Cusco. Has an approximate length of 600 m, runs through the region of Mother of God in its top is called Rio Alto Madre de Dios. When it joins with the Tambopata river in Puerto Maldonado changes name to river under the Mother of God, in all its route becomes one of the tributaries of the Amazon River.
