Best part of the holidays
The place was really great and the people, the number of activities, the organisation and the meals made everything perfect. In particular, the jungle guides that we had were awesome. Christian Herrera and Nilton are two young, smart and funny guides that behaved more as friends than anything else and we really enjoyed their company

Welcome to the Selva…Incredible Experience
This lodge is closest to an active collpa, very nice facility, good food, interesting trips on the river, seeing the cola, night ride for caiman, kayaking and swimming in the river, fishing, I checked around thru 4 agencies, this one was the least expensive and had the most bang for the buck. Nice stay, food, and activities
The Macaw clay lick is the best experience in Tambopata reserve. The guide was very knowledgeable and pointed a lot of other wild lives on our way back from Macaw Clay lick. The night hike and afternoon jungle walk was good and informative. Watching the leaf-cutter ants carry the leaves for their colony was amazing.

Very memorable jungle trip
I’d a brilliant experience on the jungle trip I booked through the Tambopata hostal in Puerto Maldonado. My trip was very well organised, and the Tambopata Inn was a great place to stay- very relaxing and good fun. I met many other lovely guests and we were all very impressed with the staff and their

Our guide was Jesus, the most informed bird watcher in peru! The night tour was also incredible. Tarantulas, frogs, sleeping butterfly’s… Also during the morning a group of howler monkeys are

Great nature lodge in the middle of the jungle
This lodge is perfectly located in the middle of the amazon jungle. Two hours by car from Puerto Maldonado and then 10 minutes by boat. Very close to the claylick cliffs where you can see macaws in the morning. The jungle directly around the lodge is full of wildlife (saw 2 types of monkeys, tarantulas,

Amazon rainforest
Absolutely fantastic! Unbelievable going up the Amazon for three hours and arriving at the lodge after dark and not believing such a wonderful site. Our guide we spent four days was Paul and was great. I’m going to take my grandsons there next year.

How can you not take a hike in the jungle?
It may be hot, it may be humid, it may be buggy … but just go and do it. There is no other way to get a sense of what the Amazonian jungle is like.

Go with a good guide
We had booked all our 4 day 3 nights jungle tours thru this good local agency. If you shop around online and research on TripAdvisor, you will find plenty of them. They all are very responsive and quote you and give you the details upfront.
