we climbed a very tall tower to the tops of the trees, we rode a canoe across a lake, saw some very huge Ficus trees, and fed piranhas in the lake

Its a jungle out there – and we are not scared!
You must experience it. From the very first step you take of the boat…its a jungle!!! The cloud forest is one of the best places I have ever visited. Vibrant noises, colours…amazing.

You MUST do a jungle/lake/river hike!
You see so many birds, animals & insects – many really close up – but in complete safety and even for a couple of old fatties like us it was easy – no hills, for example!

How can you not take a hike in the jungle?
It may be hot, it may be humid, it may be buggy … but just go and do it. There is no other way to get a sense of what the Amazonian jungle is like.

Nothing like a hike in a rain forest
Hiking in a rainforest never lets me down. Theexcursions provided by Inkaterra Amazonica provided us with sighting of sloth’s, bats, insects, monkey’s, andcaiman. What a great lifetime experience.
