Detailed Tour Itinerary

+Day 1: Motorboat journey and Introductory walk to Jungle/ Relaxing massage or savor an exotic cocktail at the swiming pool/ Caiman Safari at night

Reception at the airport. Transfer to our office situated in the town of Puerto Maldonado. Luggage that you don’t need throughout your stay static in the Rainforest could be kept inside our storage room to facilitate the transport. Embarkment at the port “Puerto de Capitanía” towards our Lodge: 40 minutes of navigation on the Madre de Dios river. Arrival at the facilities of the Lodge Corto Maltes Amazonía, where you’ll be received with a refreshment of natural fruit of the growing season. Your guide will provide you with the necessary information for the stay and give the keys to your bungalow and security safe, accompanied by the lunch plus some time and energy to rest before first excursion. 3:30 pm: Departure for the first connection with the Rainforest. Your guide will highlight tropical trees, medicinal plants and the exuberant nature of the 60-hectare-area of Corto Maltés Amazonía. A brief visit a viewpoint where toucans along with other birds could be spotted. The duration of the hike is 2-3 hours. Back at the Lodge, it is possible to relax at the pool or in the hammocks on the terrace of one’s bungalow, savor an exotic cocktail at the bar, like a relaxing massage by our qualified staff, visit our look for a handcrafted souvenir of the Rainforest or check out the riverside to see the breathtaking sunset. 7:00 pm: “Caiman Safari”.
